There is a trend in the legal field to start using a flat fee structure, and I am applying this fee structure to many of the projects I handle. I want to avoid sticker shock, and limit the fear that a telephone call will increase your bill as your attorney is racking up hours doing busy work on your case. Fear of running up a bill can cause the client to be uncommunicative and to not trust their attorney. I never want my client to feel like I’m watching the clock.
Therefore, wherever possible, I will strive to set a flat rate for your matter. If we can estimate the required work, we can agree on a flat fee for your entire project. I do accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover for fee payments other than for Bankruptcy cases.
