How will bankruptcy affect my credit score?
A bankruptcy (Chapter 7) will be on your credit record for up to 10 years but you can start building your credit rating back up immediately after your debts have been discharged. Many people, with discipline, can get their credit (FICO) score high enough to purchase a home within a few years after filing. Each person’s situation is different and I will guide you through the various options available that will free you of the overwhelming burden of carrying too much debt.
